UC Ballroom, The University of Montana-MissoulaNARAL Pro-Choice Montana and U of M Students for Choice are excited to bring Rebecca Traister to the University of Montana in Missoula on March 12th to speak about gender, sexism and politics. From the Democratic Primary to the General Election, the 2008 elections brought feminist issues to the forefront of public debate. We hope you can join us in Missoula for this exciting discussion!
Rebecca Traister is a senior writer for Salon, where she covers women in politics, media, and entertainment. She has also written for the New York Observer, Elle, The Nation, The New York Times, New York Magazine, and many other publications. She lives in Brooklyn.Due to the success of our outreach event with the feminist blogger and author Jessica Valenti which drew a crowd of over 300, NPCM is excited to make this an annual event. Our commitment to building the next generation of pro-choice leaders can only be fulfilled if we give them an opportunity to lead and elevate their voices in our communities.
