Campus Organizing
If you support access to birth control, sex education and abortion, we need your help getting other young people involved in the fight to protect the right to privacy and a woman's right to choose -- or else quite frankly, we're gonna lose it. How do I get Involved in Montana? - Join Students for Choice  Students for Choice is NARAL Pro-Choice Montana's official student affiliate group for students and organized by students! We're currently organizing on the campuses of: the University of Montana-Missoula, Montana State University-Bozeman, and Montana State University-Billings, and the Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell.
Students for Choice empowers students to make informed reproductive and sexual health decisions and to participate in the process that shapes our reproductive choices, rights, and freedoms. Our members come from a variety of majors, including history, anthropology, psychology, drama, women's studies, social work, biology and pharmacy. They organize on campus to protect reproductive rights, advocate for comprehensive sex ed and affordable birth control, to raise awareness and increase access to the morning-after pill, and to provide their peers with information on safe sex and sexually transmitted diseases. They are also an integral part of our efforts to get out the pro-choice vote and to educate voters on pro-choice issues and candidates.  NARAL Pro-Choice Montana holds campus organizing trainings on each campus where students will learn effective grassroots organizing strategies, how to talk about choice, tips for working with the media as well as the latest information about what's happening with reproductive rights in Montana and across the country. NARAL Pro-Choice Montana believes it is important to give students the tools necessary to create a successful organization and the professional skills needed whereever their careers take them and as the next generation of pro-choice leaders.
