NARAL Pro-Choice
Montana is a grassroots group of mothers, fathers, husbands, wives,
sisters and brothers who work together to preserve and expand safe reproductive
health care in Montana. We are the strongest grassroots network of pro-choice
activists in Montana.
Our mission is:
To develop and sustain a constituency that uses the political process to guarantee every woman the right to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive choices, including preventing unintended pregnancy, bearing healthy children, and choosing legal abortion.

Montana NARAL Choice PAC is a grassroots political
action committee that helps guide NARAL Pro-Choice Montana in crafting its
electoral strategy to elect pro-choice candidates in statewide, state legislative,
municipal and school board elections in Montana. MT NARAL CHOICE PAC is made
up of committed volunteers and community members.

NARAL Pro-Choice America recently raised
Montana's state grade from a "C-" to an "A-" on women's reproductive
rights. The grade is based on categories of restrictions on reproductive
freedoms. Compared to other states, Montana ranked 10th. California
ranked first for having few restrictions while Louisiana ranked 50th.
Access
to Reproductive Health Care
91% of Montana counties lack an abortion provider. Between
1996 and 2000, the number of providers fell from eleven to nine-an 18
percent loss.
