NARAL Pro-Choice Montana's Structure:

NARAL Pro-Choice Montana's work is divided among three organizations:

• NARAL Pro-Choice Montana, a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization
• NARAL Pro-Choice Montana PAC, a political action committee
• NARAL Pro-Choice Montana Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization

NARAL Pro-Choice Montana is a grassroots group of mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, sisters and brothers who work together to preserve and expand safe reproductive health care in Montana. We are the strongest grassroots network of pro-choice activists in Montana. Its mission is to develop and sustain a constituency that uses the political process to guarantee every woman the right to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive choices, including preventing unintended pregnancy, bearing healthy children, and choosing legal abortion.

NARAL Pro-Choice Montana Foundation (formerly Montanans for Choice) works to increase the number of informed decisions made about reproductive health in Montana. Its mission is to support and protect, as a fundamental right and value, a woman's freedom to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive choices through education, training, organizing, legal action, and public policy.

NARAL Pro-Choice Montana PAC is our political action committee and the driving force behind the election of many pro-choice candidates. NARAL Pro-Choice Montana PAC mounts multi-faceted campaigns, including political mail, on-line outreach, phone-banking and effective get-out-the-vote Election Day efforts to elect pro-choice candidates. NARAL Pro-Choice Montana PAC's financial contributions and political advice and services provide a critical edge to pro-choice candidates across the state.

Our vision for Montana communities--communities in which every pregnancy is wanted, every child welcomed, every woman respected--is as strong as our determination to build them from the grassroots up.

NARAL Pro-Choice America has given Montana's state grade from an "A-" on women's reproductive rights. The grade is based on categories of restrictions on reproductive freedoms.
